> Al Ardie is an independent Egyptian artist, songwriter and producer exploring different sounds and stories through music.

Al Ardie is an independent Egyptian artist, songwriter and producer. His name, الأرضي in Arabic, means “the Earthling”: someone from planet Earth. Free from a fixed genre or formula, he treats each release as its own story, moving between Egyptian Arabic and English, and between sounds, as the song requires.

## What makes the music distinctive

- Sets the words of Abdel Rahman El-Abnoudi, a landmark of Egyptian colloquial poetry, to new music on LAMBO.
- Writes and sings in both Egyptian Arabic and English.
- Works across genres rather than within one; each release is approached as a separate story.
- Fully independent: an artist who is also his own producer.
- Publishes the complete lyrics of his songs on his official website.
